Driving Miss Daisy can help ~ we offer assistance for individuals that are responsible for care of their loved ones. We can:
- Provide assistance, accompaniment and transportation to medical appointments and on other outings
- Act as a companion for social outings such as weddings and funerals or other social events
- Contact your loved one by phone on a daily basis to check on their needs such as medication reminders or assist them with coordinating services they may require to remain independent
- Provide a contact number that they can call when they are distressed or need assistance to meet a need
- Act as a liaison and contact for families and caregivers
For a fee DMD personnel can offer:
- Call reassurance by calling on a daily basis to ensure they are OK
- Provide reminder calls about appointments or to take medication
- Contact community members during an emergency
- Receive calls from family members or caregivers with specific requests
We are committed to our clients and their families. We recognize that all seniors are not alike and have specialized and individual needs.
For a nominal fee we will call your loved one each day and let them know they are important and that you and DMD care. We will inquire if they have any concerns or needs and act on their requests. We will liaise with you and call with any crisis or concerns that arise.
